Jet didn’t forget about the shield, but there were a few of his blades stuck in it and it made hitting it pretty dangerous. He didn’t expect the shield to be used for the uppercut though so he wasn’t able to use the hit to try and dislodge them from the metal protection. The semblance of his opponent actually enhanced his movement on his right straight, but it wasn’t a good thing since he felt like he had just punched concrete. This time though he did manage to angle his strike so that he could hit the blades sideway and off of the shield, making them fall in the water.
The shield bash looked less dangerous without the blades, so he was glad he went for that on his own attack but that didn’t mean he was going to ignore it. With the bracer part of this weapon on his right arm, Jet intercepted the bash, effectively locking both of them up for a moment before getting hit by a powerful thrust from Lloyd. Jet had tried to deviate it some, actually expecting it, but other managing to mitigate the strength of it a bit, he was still hit pretty hard by the blade. His aura held up but cost him a lot of it to prevent being impaled. The black haired guy cursed inwardly at his momentary loss of focus. He still managed to see the tackle comming at least. With a smirk, Jet let himself be pushed by the tackle, but instead of falling, he actually simply backed up on another tree that conveniently drifted right beside him. Well, conveniently wouldn’t be the good word to use, since Jet had a few of his blades stuck on the underside of it and was using his semblance to make the log move by controlling the metal embedded in them. “How convenient, don’t you think?”
Not waiting for an answer, Jet jumped back on the same tree he was with Lloyd before, but on the other edge. He knew the other guy was heavier than him with his metal arm and protective outfit, so he knew he wouldn’t sink much from the landing, but the whole thing might destabilize his opponent. To ensure his footing, Jet had one of his blade surge out of the water and sink as deep as possible in the wood of the tree right where he landed from his jump. The blade also acted as a starting block to push himself forward, hopefully taking advantage of his teammates potential lack of balance to strike. His attack wasn’t a standard one, his fists back close together for a meotode stance. Both hands acted as offense and defense, ready to parry and attack. Should there be no resistance though, Jet would land two consecutive punches to the chest area.

Lloyd had a snarky grin on his face as it seemed that his defense and his counter attack worked like a charm. He wasn't expecting his idea to work, especially the thrust of his arm blade, but it seemed like the coated hunter has been lucky on that one, which is something he would need for the rest of the match. As time went on, the two-tone-haired guy grew more and more tired and the chances that he would be able to make it till the end of the fight was slim, even though the not much time was left to the fight itself. Lloyd would need to muster whatever was left of his strength for the last few minutes and give it his all. If he was fighting both time and Jet, his opponent seemed the most plausible to beat in order to achieve victory.
Seeing as Jet landed on another tree that was "miraculously passing by", the guy in a coat raised an eyebrow full of sarcasm before he watched his adversary leap above him to reach the other side of the log he was currently on. Even though his own weight was greater than Shady's, Lloyd ducked to lower his gravitational center and stuck his stinger in the tree to keep his balance while Jet prepared for an attack that aimed for shield bearer's chest before he lowered himself, now risking his face to be targeted.
As blocking was impossible in his current position and absolutely wanting to go full offensive from now on, Lloyd lifted his shield up just enough to deflect the fists of his opponent by inclining his protection to cause the hits to glance off of it before raising both his legs from the log using his anchored arm and aimed them at Jet's stomach before using his Semblance to launch himself toward him in a good old dropkick fashion with great velocity. As soon as his feet connected anything that was part of Jet's body, the bicolored-haired hunter would Repel himself from him, launching backward this time to get as far as possible to avoid potential attacks from his foe. When at a reasonable distance in midair, Lloyd would disconnect his shield from his arm and throw it directly at Shady in hope to take him by surprise. Letting himself fall back down towards the water, the coated hunter would do a somersault in order to have his feet to touch the water first, which he would use the surface of to Repel himself once more, this time going for the middle of the arena where neither water nor mountain was to finish the fight in a reasonably fair terrain. Now without lance and shield, Lloyd had to end this with only his improvised arm blade in a close quarter combat, which wasn't his strong suit, but he had to do it, for himself, for his opponent and the crowd watching.

Jet may have been careless when he let the thrust pass, but he didn' take any damage from the tackle at least since he moved backward at the same time. Still, his side where the blade had struck was a bit tender and now he too was feeling the drain on his aura. He was on his last few attacks and he knew it. For now though, he was defending.
It was to be noted, Jet is a martial artist and has had quite a lot of experience in fighting in close quarters with a lot of people. The fact his opponent was doing pretty well against him should be considered a testament of his own raw talent too. But it was still a fact that Jet's strong suit was extremely close combat. The double kick was pretty much telegraphed, it is an attack that requires a lot of movements, especially when starting with it. Jet didn't dodge though, he punched the legs down as they were coming, possibly to damage the shins, or simply to deflect them.
The dropkick was more of a surprise since it wasn't the result of a natural movement, his opponent having used his Semblance. Jet stepped back from it, the kick hitting the tree instead of the black haired martial artist. Just as he saw Lloyd immediately shoot backward from another use of his semblance, the whole force of the kick and he assumed the counter-force of the repel snapped the tree in two at the middle.
Jet used this to jump toward another floating trunk. The shield throw was a bit of a surprise again but not too far from the realm of the possibilities for him to be dumbstruck. Using his bracer he batted the shield down in the water then started running and jumping from tree to tree to rejoin his opponent on the middle of the arena. His arms and hands were behind him as he ran to hide them a bit from view. Once he reached close enough, he jumped with as much force as possible to the point where his trajectory would take him over Lloyd and behind him. At the last second though, Jet flicked his right arm behind him, the wire in his bracer extending. He had reattached the smaller blade on it and the weapon stuck to the edge of the dry area, halting his forward momentum just over Lloyd's head, transferring it downward, his leg extended in the perfect position for a high powered dropkick of his own.
The moment he reached the ground, be it after hitting his opponent or not, the wire detached itself from the ground and with some reeling and a sudden arm flick, the long metal cable acted like a whip to entangle the two-toned haired hunter by passing behind him, around the right arm ending with the single blade at the tip of it striking the left shoulder just before the start of the metal arm.
Jet's arms were again glowing green at that moment. With as much semblance as he could spare on his left, bigger knuckle to accelerate the punch he launched to his opponent's potentially exposed ribs. The bigger part of his aura was spent on something else though, as his right arm that had been keeping his weapon taut shot forward for an apparent palm thrust to the same point where the small blade had landed, but the green glow indicated for more. From the water behind him surged dozens of blades, all of those he had dropped in there earlier except the small few that were stuck under the tree. The metal pieces flew in an erratic way behind himself so they would stay in Lloyd's blind spot as long as possible before splitting and passing close beside him to strike at his opponent's legs, sides and right arm, pushing his Semblance to the maximum to try and keep pushing some of the blades to their target and maybe overpower Lloyd's own Semblance should he use it on some of the blades. His aura was depleting quite fast with this move and controlling this many blades at the same time would be too much so his Ferrokinesis was concentrating mostly on only a few of the blades to increase his power, but making sure it was impossible to tell which those were.

Lloyd nearly gasped in awe as he noticed that by missing his dropkick he broke the tree the two hunters were fighting on in two halves right in the middle. He never knew he could deploy so much force by using his Semblance along with an attack and this discovery was surely increasing the versatility of his Repel now that he had a way to actually use it for offensive purposes without needing to counter attack someone. The coated guy's happy face changed to a flinching one however as he felt the sharp pain caused by the punch he received directly in the shin. If it wasn't of his aura, the bone would have probably shatter from the hit and would have crippled him for the rest of the fight if not the tourney depending on the quality of the medical equipment.
Lloyd's shield throw seemed to have been completely useless and now without anything to defend himself properly was left at his opponent's mercy. Keeping a close eye on Jet as he flew overhead, the two-tone-haired guy wasn't expecting to quick maneuver to come down on him with a powerful dropkick and unable to dodge, Lloyd did the only thing he had to do and raised both his arms in a cross shape to alt his adversary's foot right above his head. The coated hunter felt like he was sinking into the ground from the power of the attack, he and wouldn't be too far from the truth as the floor had shattered a bit around him. Unable to move right away, he was also at the mercy of the next attack that lashed its target without difficulty.
Having enough of this, Lloyd turned around to face his opponent, but not before grabbing the weapon with both his hands and preparing for Jet's next assault. He knew that it wasn't his weapon and that he ricked big by holding it the way he did, but now the two-tone-haired guy had nothing to lose to try something completely stupid. As Shady moved forward with a punched directed towards his side, Lloyd used the wire to deflect the blow on the side before making a quick movement of his arms to twist the metal thread around Jet's left arm before spinning on himself to both dodge toward's his adversary's left side to reach his back and lock his arm right up behind him.
Only now noticing the green glow of Jet's arms, Lloyd knew that it meant something was coming his way. Seeing that nothing was in front of him beside's his friend, he assumed that whatever was happening was where he couldn't see and it wasn't going to be good. Unable to use his Semblance at this point and with a desperate but unyielding will, the coated guy had only one idea that could maybe save him. Using the last of his strength, Lloyd proceeded to lift Jet up, trying to get him off the ground before turning as fast as he could to use his friend as the most literal human shield ever. Not fast enough though, many blades would still land in his legs, slashing and stabbing directly his flesh with his lack of aura while other blades bounced on his metal arm but left dents in it.

Jet would have shouted in triumph over his relatively succesful attacks if he had time. His punch was intercepted by his own weapon, which wasn't entirely surprising as it wasn't the first time his opponent grabbed it. This time there was only one blade on it so he didn't risk large cuts from the move. He managed to capture Jet with the wire since he was concentrated on his blades he was controling with the last of his aura, but Jet wasn't going to stay like that long. By jumping, he manged to spin mid-air to untangle himself at least partially, though his arm was still stuck.
As his blades were going to hit Lloyd, Jet felt himself being grabbed and lifted. That surprised him and he lost control of a few blades that kept flying in the straight line he had started them. A few hit his back, effectively protecting Lloyd, but the black haired guy managed to gain back control of most of those that would have hit him, halting them before injuring himself even more. Still, a few blades did slice into Lloyd, doing some more damage so he was happy.
He was exhausted. So was Lloyd apparently, as they both didn't look like they had any aura left. Jet managed to free himself from his teammate's grasp only to fall on the ground. His left arm was also freed from his weapon and the wire had reeled back in. Mustering as much power as he could, Jet got up and went for a strike, only to be interrupted by the end of match signal. Mid-punch, Jet sighed and would have fell backward to catch his breath, but he was determined to stay up, trying to show that he wasn't as beat-up as he was. That, and the wounds in his back wouldn't like it. Neither would his aching side, arm and... well almost everything.
"Good match buddy... Good match... Anytime you want to do this again!" Jet was panting a lot as he talked, smiling through the pain and exhaustion and extending his arm for a handshake.

Lloyd was happy, it seemed that using Jet as a human shield to protect himself from the attack was a good plan after all even if it was very desperate. The coated guy let go of the metal wire he has been holding and watched Jet fall on the floor and it was really tempting to do the same, but he preferred staying tall and standing as much as he could as if he would lie down even for a second he wouldn't be able to get back up on his own. Shady then got up and tried to go for a final strike against Lloyd, who wasn't moving. Not because he knew the match was about to end or that he felt like the punch wouldn't hit him, it was just because he didn't felt like moving anymore. At least, the match was over and the two of them could finally go rest.
Sighing heavily, Lloyd grabbed Jet's hand and shook it. "Again? Are you crazy?!? Can I go die a little bit first for the next couple of years?" did he say jokingly before thinking to himself. He knew that Jet was a good fighter, and it took him everything to survive this match and it would only get harder as he would move on if he was to win. The two-tone-haired guy wouldn't be able to keep up, even if he was to rest and train a bit between each faceoff, he was sure that he'd lose. Smiling to his opponent, Lloyd raised Jet's hand in the air like a judge before speaking to the crowd. "I present to you Jet Jeyson, the winner of this fight!" As the crowed cheered for the victor, Lloyd looked back at his friend. "Sorry if I take you by surprise with this. I know you wouldn't want it to end this way, but I can't keep up. It was fun though, and I'm glad I was able to fight against you. Our fight gave me some ideas for team tactics, so neither of us are losers in this."
With that, Lloyd patted Jet's shoulder before heading out to the infirmary, hoping someone from the arena's staff would bring him his equipment lost in the fields. Raising his fist in the air one last time and shouting at his friend, the coated guy left the arena. "Make Syne and Team KLAJ proud Jet, we're counting on you!"
(OCC: I am forfeiting, I have too much issues to go on in the tourney so I'm letting Jet continue, it's best for everyone like this. Have fun everyone!)
