Twice, that girl won. She succeeded in the tournament twice thus far, and she was bound to go to her third. She was strong, incredibly strong. To say the most, she was going to win the tournament overall. She had the strength to do so as well as the technique. The only way she would lose is if she met an opponent stronger than her; smarter wouldn't do any good, because she was just a machine that would win no matter what. After all, he faced her firsthand.
There was that boy, sitting on a bench in the lobby, watching people walk to and fro. His thoughts remained on that girl he was waiting for, Fate, or was it right to say android? She was strong, powerful, and incredible, because she wasn't human. She was built to surpass Humans, Faunus, and Grimm. To say the least, she was made to fight, but even so, he didn't think of her as just a machine. She was a living being, someone with feelings, emotions, and goals to surpass, just like him.
Dressed in a white coat, blue shirt, white dress pants and white dress shoes, the boy held a small box in his hands. The design on it wasn't anything special, just blue and white stripes, and the gift itself wasn't anything big at all, just a small pocket-sized stuffed animal hamster. Considering Fate was designed to be a feline Faunus, the boy thought it was appropriate to give to her as a congratulatory gift in the very least. She made it thus far in the tournament, so some encouragement would get her to the end.
Still, the boy had to wait. He'd wait to see if she'd arrive, but if not, then he'd try again. Even if he was just a memory of the past, having been beaten in his very first round, he wanted to see his opponent through to the end, to know that his loss was well-earned victory for her.
