These are the General rules That seem to be more or less Universal between both sites, and as such should be followed at all times.
- Clean Content: Try to keep all content, including topics and Shoutbox, PG13. There are many sources out there in the innerweblands that explain what PG13 is, and I'm sure your respective sites have shared such information.
- Respect for other players: Members from all over the world may or may not be participating, spectating, or even just lurking. No matter their Background, Race, Gender, or sexual orientation, it is extremely important that we be respectful and inoffensive. Behavior indicating otherwise is not tolerated on Either RLR or Syne, and so will not be tolerated here under any circumstances.
- Respect for Staff Members: Not to say by any means that This is any more or less important than respect for players as a whole, but it is also a good thing to pay attention to what staff says. All we are trying to do is help you all out, and to make this event run as smoothly as possible. If a staff member form EITHER SITE instructs you to do anything, Please follow directions. Any complaints can be brought up later through PM or skype to any staff member, but DO NOT argue with us at the scene. It makes things much more frustrating for everyone involved, and is helping no one. All you will get is a ban hammer to the face.
- No Godmodding/Powerplaying: YOU ARE NOT IMMORTAL. Nor are you Omniscient, Omnipotent, omni-anything. You are a human (or faunus or android) like everyone else. Sure, it might be in your character to shrug of an attack like it's nothing, but there's a limit to that, and attacks generally start to hurt more the more you get hit. On the other hand, you can't dodge every attack made, specifically those that your character cannot logically avoid. In addition, you cannot take control of anyone else's character, even if the offense is minor. You are yourself, and only yourself (and maybe a background NPC/side character)
- No Metagaming: OOC (Out of Character) Information does not belong IC (In Character). Any and all information possessed by your character must have been gotten from IC means. You cannot look at a character page and suddenly know everything about who you looked up.
- Registration: Your username can be whatever you would like it to be (within reason, inappropriate usernames will be banned), but your Display name, which you can change within your profile editor, Must be the character with which you are Role playing. Because this is an event lasting only three months, your avatar is not super important, so you do not have to worry too hard about it if you don't want to.
